(1) WEARING A MASK - IS  (currently) OPTIONAL (wear one that go behind /around your ears- not one that ties behind your head)

 An email/text will go out if this status changes- due to the increase in covid cases. The KBN staff will NOT provide a mask. We have a few cloth masks available for purchase. 

 

(2) Social Distancing  is still being practiced. Only clients with appointments will be allowed in the salon, so please do not bring any extra people with you to your appointment. They will NOT be allowed. 

 

(3) No walk-ins will be accepted. BY APPT ONLY!!

 

(4) WAITING AREA IS CLOSED- There is no waiting in the salon- due to space constraints. If you arrive early for your appointment - please WAIT IN YOUR VEHICLE.  Make us aware of your arrival by either calling your stylist or calling into the salon. 919 845 4888. 

(5) If you have been exposed to the Virus- Your appointment will need to be 7+ days AFTER your exposure. PLEASE call the salon at 919 845 8444 to reschedule. 24 hours minimum notice

NEW CLIENTS 

Deposit is REQUIRED. Deposits are non refundable & non transferrable. If you pay a deposit or services in full without a consultation, please note price are subject to change and balance will be due at check out.

Preparing for your appointment

How to prepare for your appointment:

(1) ENSURE THAT ANY/ALL BRAIDS, TWIST OR PREVIOUS STYLE HAS BEEN REMOVED  & THOROUGHLY COMBED OUT AND DETANGELED. This will be considered an additional service if not completed prior to arriving for your appointment and a fee will be added onto your scheduled service.

(2) IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR A CONSULTATION. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR HAIR IN A STYLE AND THAT YOUR HAIR IS NOT FULL OF PRODUCT - we encourage everyone to arrive with clean hair.

(3) IF YOU ARRIVE AT YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR PREVIOUS STYLE STILL IN TACT- YOUR STYLIST WILL HAVE THE ABILITY/RIGHT TO ASK YOU TO RESCHEDULE. If they were not aware that a take down appointment was needed. Take downs are a separate service and will be at a cost per hour. 

No Show / Cancellations

THERE IS A  NO SHOW & CANCELLATION FEE.  This fee is the full amount of the service scheduled.

(1) IF YOU CALL OR CONTACT KBN LESS THAN 24 HOURS  BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT - THAT IS CONSIDERED A NO SHOW -CANCELLATION.

(2) IF YOU DO NOT CALL OR CONTACT KBN AT ALL , ABOUT YOUR APPOINTMENT- THAT IS ALSO CONSIDERED A NO SHOW= CANCELLATION. 

 

(3) IF YOU ARE ASKED TO RESCHEDULE - DUE TO NOT FOLLOWING THE SALON POLICIES

IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT AFTER IT'S MADE, OUT OF COURTESY YOU SHOULD CALL AND CANCEL THE APPOINTMENT WITHIN A 24 HOUR WINDOW. 

 

 

Children

CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE SALON UNLESS THEY ARE SCHEDULED TO RECEIVE A SERVICE/ UNLESS THEY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO GET THEIR HAIR DONE.  IF YOU SHOW UP FOR YOUR APPT WITH A CHILD(REN) AND THEY DO NOT HAVE AN APPT. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO RESCHEDULE AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED A NO SHOW FEE. which equates to the total amount of your scheduled service.

Consultation REQUIRED

NEW CLIENT:

A CONSULTATION FOR A NEW CLIENT (YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN A CLIENT AT KBN BEFORE OR IT HAS BEEN 12 MONTHS SINCE LAST  VISIT). 

LOC START:

IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON STARTING LOCS AND A STYLIST AT KBN IS COMPLETING THIS SERVICE. 

INTERLOCKING LOC MAINTENANCE OR LOC REPAIR:

STYLIST WILL NEED TO HAVE A VISUAL OF THE AMOUNT OF MAINTENANCE OR THE EXTENT OF THE REPAIR TO BE COMPLETED. THIS WILL AFFECT THE PRICING
